Angela Graham is President of Graham & Associates, Inc. which was founded in 1999 to provide premier program management, construction management, engineering, water/wastewater and facilities management services to clients who are focused on quality, sustainability, timing, and the “bottom line” (cost) results of their projects. Angela has over 30 years of project management experience, extensive studies in the area project management and has led numerous large multi-faceted projects in the Metro-Atlanta Area.
Ms. Graham has developed a team that is not only focused on meeting our client expectations, but we are focused on Going Beyond what is expected to levels of service that are unheard of today. Our project team understands the complexity of today’s projects and we plan, manage, monitor, control and provide solutions that meet our client’s goals and objectives. Every project is different and the Graham & Associates team tailor our services to meet the specific goals of each one. Over the past 10 years, Ms. Graham has focused one-hundred percent of her time developing a diverse, yet integrated portfolio of services and growing Graham & Associates into a reputable, highly sought-after company in the local and federal markets. The company has had significant growth over the past 10 Years which has provided the opportunity to change lives on a community level by creating jobs.
Graham & Associates is currently participating in large multi-year projects such as: DeKalb County’s Program Management for the Federal Consent Decree, the Construction Management for the Snapfinger Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion, the DeKalb Program Management for the Watershed Capital Improvement Program, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Program Management for their Capital Improvement Program, the City of Atlanta Consent Decree Program and the MARTA Centralized Program Management project. In addition, Graham & Associates is the Prime Contractor on projects at Fort Bragg, Fort Benning, Robins Airforce Base, Lackland Airforce Base and with the DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management.
Angela began her career with The Mead Corporation as a manufacturing manager responsible for line efficiencies, quality, safety and project management for the installation of new equipment. She was then recruited by the Coca-Cola Company where she worked in marketing developing promotional strategies and managing suppliers. After her career with Coca-Cola, Angela used her diverse background to manage two successful bond referendum campaigns for DeKalb County which brought more than $355 million in funding for transportation initiatives, right-of-way acquisitions, parkland acquisitions, park improvements and library projects to the County. Angela was then recruited by The Trust for Public Land as a Program Director responsible for parkland acquisitions on the multi-faceted BeltLine Project, the DeKalb County Parkland Program and the City of Atlanta Parkland Program.
Ms. Graham has been recognized by the Atlanta Business League as one of “Atlanta’s Top 100 Black Women of Influence”, she has been recognized for her commitment to her work in saving the environment and was selected as one of the YWCA Woman of Achievement for her outstanding contributions to Stephanie and Arthur Blank and the greater Atlanta Community. She was also selected by Atlanta Women Magazine as one of Atlanta’s Women “Saving the Planet.” Other past awards include: the 2015 YMCA of Metro Atlanta Volunteer of the Year Award, the 2014 DeKalb Chamber Apex Small Business of the Year Award, the Coca-Cola Innovation Award for Excellence in Marketing Innovation for Innovative Process Change, and the One TPL Award for Devotion to Supplier Diversity.
Angela is currently the Chairperson for the South DeKalb YMCA Board of Advisors, a member of the Atlanta Business League (ABL), a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), a member of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO), a member of The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and a proud Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In addition, Ms. Graham is the former Chairperson of the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce Small Business Committee, a former DeKalb Jury Commissioner, a former Board Member of Friends of Georgia State Parks and a former Board Member of Park Pride.
Angela’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Technology from Georgia Southern University, a Master of Project Management from Keller School of Management and a Master of Divinity from Emory University.
