EDUCATION: Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology

As Vice President of Engineering Design, Michelle is responsible for the overall management, leadership, and growth of the firm’s engineering design services, including planning, design, permitting, and project delivery across all phases.

With nearly 30 years of experience in civil engineering, water and wastewater systems, and land development, Michelle brings a strong background across both public and private sectors. Her experience includes water and wastewater design, utility permitting, and full-cycle site development for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. She is known for her technical expertise, leadership, and ability to improve processes while developing high-performing teams.

Prior to joining the organization, Michelle served as a Senior Project Manager in water and wastewater engineering, leading multidisciplinary project delivery and regulatory coordination. She also held leadership roles in both consulting and municipal environments, including serving as Engineering Manager for the Planning & Development Division at DeKalb County’s Department of Watershed Management, where she managed a team of more than 20 professionals and oversaw plan review, permitting, and compliance programs.

Michelle is a licensed Professional Engineer with additional certifications in erosion and sediment control and municipal stormwater compliance.
